Hi Buds! We'll be making the big trip South for our move to Florida in about 8 weeks. I really want to take a few of my plants with me, all daylillies. I have 8 miniature lillies, and one giant monster lilly that I can break up into about 10 small plants.
What would be the best way to get them there alive? It will be about a 2 day drive and we will be moving ourselves. I was thinking maybe one of those cheap-y kiddy pools and planting the lillies in there temporarily, or individually potting the plants. Do you think they will make it OK if I chop down the foliage and make sure they stay moist?
Any help you could pass along would be greatly appreciated by me and my lillies! TIA!
The kiddy pool idea is very clever, but do you have enough room for that? Individual pots, maybe even buckets, would probably work too.
WDW will be about 20 minutes away with a nice, scenic drive thru cow fields.
