Need some major prayers

My Dad is having surgery this morning to remove the cancer in his stomach. It is a pretty major/risky surgery for anyone and although he's stronger than he was a few weeks ago he is still not 100% but they can't take give the cancer more time to grow. He celebrated his 81st birthday last week and last year climbed a mountain just to say he did. I don't think he'll be climbing mountains any time soon but pray that he can get through the battle he has to fight right now.

He's a very spiritual person and I know he appreciates all the prayers on his behalf.

One of my uncles had stomach cancer surgery last week. The dr's weren't sure he'd make it, but he showed them a thing or 2. I bet your dad's a fighter like my uncle is.

A friend's dad just had this surgery a few weeks ago (he is 78) and everything went very well!
