Need some iPhoto help

A good friend took 35 iPhoto pix at my retirement party last weekend. While I can view them on my computer, I tried uploading them to Walgreens to be developed, but since they are not in a jpeg type format, they can't be uploaded.
Please tell me that the format can be adapted so that they can be printed? I would hate to lose them. Thanks very much.

Try opening them in a photo editing program and then saving them as JPG. If you do not have one, Irfanview is free.
