need some in room breakfast ideas (no fridge)

When we stayed at a value, we brought a dried fruit/granola mix for the mornings, as well as some fresh fruit to go along with it... we also had bagels and pop tarts (couldn't resist a bit of junk... :rotfl:) and plenty of granola/trail mix bars. We made hot cocoa from Ghiradelli's to go along w/ it, as we missed our morning coffee, but it got us by until we could sprint through the food court for some on our way to the buses! ;)

And here I thought we were the only ones who packed Pop Tarts and coffee cakes in our suitcase. ;)

We were pretty close to POP's food court, so one of us ran over each morning to get coffee and toast Pop Tarts for the hubs and get Diet Coke for me. We both had the refillable resort mugs, which was nice.

Other options to consider - cereal bars, granola bars, Carnation Instant Breakfast (can probably fit 2 cans in the ice bucket with ice overnight to chill) or sturdy fruit like apples.

If you're in a value, I'm not sure you get a coffee maker. POP doesn't have them, so you'd need to use the food court for things like instant oatmeal or other hot options. There are microwaves you can use along with the toasters.

To the OP, keep in mind that Pop does not have a coffee maker so hot water is going to be a problem unless you bring one or a hot pot. I brought a hot pot one year and packed oatmeal, tea bags, sweetener, bowls and spoons inside it. We had bought some mugs at one of the Disney outlet stores in Orlando (a pre-planned purchase).
