ok fellow dissers....i have a pound of 96% lean ground beef in the fridge to cook with tomorrow night........any ideas?!!? :stir: ( nothing on the grill please as it is going to be 30 degrees and raining out)

Meatballs, meatloaf, beef stroganoff, baked ziti, tacos...

I'm glad you asked! I bought hamburger today too, and I was trying to decide what to make. How about spaghetti?

Shepard's Pie???

Brown the meat and add chopped onions and green peppers (and whatever else floats your boat). Add a bit of water and some flour along with a few beef bullion cubes and a tbsp of browning sauce. Top with some mashed potatoes and throw in the oven for 10 minutes on 350.

oh meatloaf, i haven't made that in ages.....i will do it in muffin tins then i have it portion controlled, plus it is just so cute that way, lol, and you can freeze extras. (plus it cooks quicker too).........now what to have with it........................

ooh, meatloaf sounds good, I haven't made that in awhile. The shepards pie sounds good too.

I thought of one, taco pie, it's my family's favorite!

Brown ground beef, drain, add taco seasoning and small can tomato sauce
In a pie plate, press cressent rolls to form crust.
Pour ground beef into pie crust (I put refried beans down first, but you don't have too)
Bake 350 for 15 mins.
Top with sour cream and shredded cheese
Bake another 15 mins. or until cheese is melted and slightly brown.

Very easy and good too!

this sounds really good!! i don't have any cressent rolls but, when i go shopping on monday i will get some to make this next week.

My DH's favorite is Beef and Bean pie

Brown 1 lb of hamburger
Mix in one can of bean with bacon soup and a can of chili beans
Add salsa, cheese and a small can of chopped olives.
I use a two crust pie crust from Pillsbury.

Put 1 crust in a pie plate, add the ingredients above and top with the second crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes

It's wonderful on cold evenings.

first thing I thought of was chili!

This was my first thought too. And this is exactly what I made for dinner tonight, with enough leftover for tomorrow night.

I don't know what this is called but my DD and DH like it.

Brown hamb. meat, drain and rinse
Add one can rotel tomatoes and one can cream of mushroom soup
Pour mixture over crumbled nacho cheese Doritos in casserole dish
Top with shredded mild cheddar cheese
Bake for around thirty minutes at 325 degrees

This one sounds good, I think I might try this for dinner tomorrow. I actually have all the ingredients except for the doritos (I can live without those ;) )THANKS!
