Next year will be our 6th visit, so looking for something new to do on one of days.

I was thinking of going to the Port Canaveral to see the cruise ships, and hopefully motivate my DH in letting me book another crusie:thumbsup2

What else is there to do there, does it have nice beaches.

Also any other suggestions welcome, we've done the balloon flight and swamps. We will also probably go to Busch on one of our other days too.

We always try to do something 'different' each time we go.

These have included:

A powerboat ride with Captain Turbo
A visit to Disney's Wilderness Preserve
NASCAR ridelalong at Richard Petty's
Visiting Mount Dora
Celebration's Pie Festival & Exotic Car Festival
Make your own breakfast pancakes at the Sugar Mill at DeLeon State Park
Lunch at Chalet Suzanne at Lake Wales
Orlando Magic Basketball game
Concert at Hard Rock Live
Little Toot & Seascreamer boat tours at Clearwater
Visit to St Augustine
Daytona Speedway
Fantasy of Flight
Jetskiing at Buena Vista watersports
Visit to Lakeridge Winery (and their Jazz Festival)
Winter Park Boat Tour

Just been talking to DH about your question. We would both find it very difficult to answer. We enjoyed them all in different ways and would do all of them again (except perhaps for the basketball game).

I guess it depends on how much time you have, what you enjoy doing, how far you want to travel and (to a certain extent) how much you want to spend.

We have spent the afternoon at PC 3 times now and planning doing it again next year, probably goto Cocoa beach in the morning then lunch at Grills http://www.grillsseafood.com/index.php after lunch have a drink at the Tiki bar & listen to the live band before the cruise ships leaving around 4pm. We find it a nice relaxing day away from the parks.
We also enjoy a day at Clearwater doing Little Toot.
St Augustine was a great day out in Feb, we were supposed to go last August but it was just too hot, Feb was a lot better with cooler temps.

We've also spent a great Sunday afternoon at PC watching the ships leave, listening to a band and enjoying a few drinks.

Like Wayne says, a nice relaxing change from the parks.
