I've been trying to find the reviews for the hotels I'm looking for, but tripadvisor doesn't have very recent ones, say within the past three months.

I'm looking at Quality Inn Maingate West and Days Inn Eastgate. The internet rates are awesome for just having a place to sleep at night.

Any opinions out there would be appreciated. I like things clean, but for the price I can get, not expecting Ritz Carlton-type. I do spray with lysol and will complain if not clean enough.

I stayed at the Quality Inn Maingate West a couple years ago. It was clean, convenient and the price was right. It was a basic motel. It did have a free continental breakfast, not much variety but better than nothing. I would definately stay there again.

We usually stay at the Quaility Inn Maingate for one night before we check in to our Disney hotel. I was there last week and thought it was clean enough for one night, but my wife could not wait to get out of the place.

If I needed a place for one night only, I would stay there again as long as the rate was cheap enough.

We did Days Inn Eastgate for one night before checking into our Disney hotel. It seemed pretty run-down but clean. DH and I both agreed it would be depressing to stay there for longer than a day.

If you are looking for clean but (very) spare, it should be OK.

Just popping this downstairs for some more info:)

Not everyone posts their review in the hotels section on Tripadvisor. I've sometimes found more current information by using the search function in the TA forums.

Hope this helps!

Hi...can't recall much of anything positive about any of the Days Inns on this board over the years...

Good Luck..Ted

THe Quality Inn looks ok, it would be my choice heads and shoulders above the Days Inn. I'd ask for a room in the "front" as the back seems a little "desolate" to me.

Have you looked at teh Comfort Inn a couple miles further down 192? A co-worker has stayed at both and said the Comfort Inn was worth the extra couple miles-cleaner and newer. I think it has a free breakfast as well.
