First off - LOVED the DL podcast this week - especially since we're planning a quick 2 day trip at the beginning of Jan. on our way to Hawaii. The best part of all is I'll be in DL on my birthday! :woohoo:

I was hoping some fellow listeners can help me out. I've asked the same ? on the DL board, but I really trust you all & just know I'll find some helpful advice! :thumbsup2 I'm looking for the best way to get from LAX to the Park Vue Inn in Anaheim. Our flight arrives late (11pm) so DL Express is out since they stop at 10:30pm. We're really not wanting to rent a car even though it might be cheaper since we really won't use it other than the round trip to/from LAX & we'd have to take a shuttle to pick it up (with a 3 & 5 y.o. in tow), prefer not to drive in LA, etc. Given that, our options are a shared ride shuttle or a car service. I've priced out the shuttles. Can anyone give me info/recommendations on any car services? There's 4 of us - DH, 2 DSs, & me. We'll have carseats for the boys to use.

TIA!

I'd stay away from Black and White. I've had them "miss" a couple calls to take us home. Service used to be great and has gone down hill. (I used to use them weekly several years ago...) I am really not sure who to use these days.

That being said - Super Shuttle is probably the most reliable of all of the shuttle services that exist. Second would be PrimeTime. I've used both and they are easy to get and use from LAX.

I would trust the car service recommendations you got from the DL Board - those folks really do know their stuff. A lot of them just don't venture over to this board, as they don't listen to the show because they just have no interest in Walt Disney World. (Believe it or not, a lot of West Coasters feel that way!)

As a local, I've never used any shuttles or car services to and from the airports. That's what my family members are for, right? So, I'm afraid I can't be of much help in this area. That being said, I do see Super Shuttle vans and PrimeTime vans everywhere, so that was my first thought.

I agree with Nancy, go with the info you got on the DL board, if it sounded good. There are lots of west coast DISers on that board who would know better about car services and shuttles. Have a great trip and enjoy your birthday at Walt's park. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info, Nancy & Tony! I think I'm narrowed down to SS or PT, but am still hoping to get some info on car services. I really haven't had anyone make a specific recommendation on any of those yet. I'll see what I might hear here or on my DL board post. Thanks again!

We always use Super Shuttle, and we are using them again this month! We have never had a problem and their prices are comparable to the Disneyland Express- usually a dollar or two cheaper per person.

Do an online search for a coupon first and then book it online. After you pick up your luggage you go outside to the shuttle area and there should be someone that you check in with who will get you on the right shuttle.

Have fun.
