Need some AS Sports help, please!

We have never stayed at any of the All Stars..... we usually get a camp sight or do a cabin at FW.

Anyway............... We are staying at AS Sports 11/30-12/6. We will have our own car (driving from MA), so being close to the bus isn't as important as being close to parking. But we would like to be close to one of the pools too. Any suggestion of what building, or which side of which building to request?

We stayed in the baseball section of the All Star Sports. We
stayed on the backside of the building which faced the parking
lot. I think we were in building 8. We were very close to the
parking lot and just around the corner was the "quiet" pool. It
was a great location and not far from the food court either.

Surf's Up (the preferred buildings, an extra $10 a night) are the closest to the main pool and the main building where the food court, shop, bus stop arcade and guest services are. BUT Touchdown (non-prefered & is almost as close) buildings are also adjacent to the Homerun buildings and the quiet pool.

Sounds like building 8 or one of the Touchdown buildings will work just fine!

Baseball, 8 and 9, have a pool right outside and are next to the parking lot. Also, we have stayed in the Tennis buildings and they are very close to the parking lot.

We stayed in the Baseball building and the pool was right there. We just had to walk down the steps and we could get in the pool. My DD LOVED it! She was only 2 at the time, but loves to swim. It was a nice place and not loud at all. I thought it would be because we had a view of the pool, but it was perfect.

We just returned from there and stayed in the back of Hoops building 3. It was very quiet with a nice landscape view but not very close to the pool or the parking lot. We didn't have time to look around the property much. You can look at a map of the property from this website; also you can request a room close to the pool and parking and they will try to accomodate you. We really enjoyed our stay there.
