Need Social Committee ideas!

I am on the social committee at work..about 40 people in the office.
I am looking for ideas of things we can do to add some $$$ to our fund!

Does anyone have access to getting donations for tickets to certain events (sporting, theater) in the area and then sell tickets to raffle them off - that usually brings in a lot of money.
