Need Safety Bracelet and Tattoo Suggestions

My girls made their own bracelets using number and letter beads we bought at Michael's. They srung our name and cell phone and added some pretty beads as well. Just a thought, it works well and is much more reasonable. They have been wearing them places for years. Even now, they all know our cell phone numbers, but you never know if they are scared if they will be able to think of it, so the younger two still wear them.

I was able to upload an image (Mickey Head, of course!) and print on both the front and back.

Here's a photo of ours - his name was on the front and my cell on the back (obviously, blurred out for privacy in the photo)

They were inexpensive and shipped really fast! Very happy with them!

where did you upload the mickey head from? did they say anything about copyright?

Nothing was said about any copyright. I 'drew' the Mickey head on my computer, made it small enough to fit the band and uploaded it.

I went got one of those engraved tags (yes, I know they are for pets) but the little pink heart my DD4 LOVED. I got a cute little necklace and wasn't expensive and would break if got caught on something. Who knows with a 4 year old. I will take a rubber bracelet as a backup with number written on back. She loves the idea of having a new necklace. :)

Another idea of what we do with our kids, every single morning before heading into the park, we take the kids pictures. So that we have an updated picture and can tell anyone we need to exactly what they are wearing. It may be overkill, but just to make sure that it all is taken care of.

We just bought safety tats for our November trip. Although one day while in the park last time, we were in the children's center, and a missing child was in there, the cm that worked that office said they suggest to parents to put a piece of paper in the child's shoe of the cell phone numbers. So that also is a good idea.

In a pinch, use masking tape. Write your info on it and stick it on your kid!

I found on ebay a seller of "dog tags" for $ 1.00 each plus shipping. I had them printed with childs first name, parents names and parents cell numbers. I am going to put the round ring through their belt loop or fanny pack each am so they will stay on.

Ok, this is really low budget. I am a nurse at a hospital and we have ID bands that can be written on with a sharpie. I have put them around my DD ankle so they are not in any pictures and they can be cut off at night. They were free and I could put one on each day. They are bright orange so they are very visible.

For another idea we found that Disney has machines where you can get dog tag type necklaces made. We had them engraved with their name, our name and our cell phone number. Our two youngest loved them and now we keep them to use on other trips to places.

That's what were doing too. We have a military supply store near our house that makes them. For 4.99 you get 5 lines and 16 characters. So, we can put their name and both cell phone numbers and we don't have to pay for shipping.
