Need Reviews: Olivia's, Boatwrights, Shutters & Mangino's

Hi! I am having a Disney Wedding and want to go to dinner with guests after. Can anyone please review any or all of the following:

Olivia's Cafe - Old Key West Resort
Boatwright's Dining Hall - Port Orleans Riverside
Shutters - Caribbean Beach Resort
Mangino's - Shades of Green Resort

I want an adult atmosphere, as there will be no kids at my wedding. We will have from 8-12 people. I have the pricing, so I'm o.k. there. Please feel free to comment on the atmosphere, especially relating to a wedding party's dinner. Any advice would really be appreciated!

I can speak for Boatwright's...my family and I had stayed at POR on a previous trip and never got the chance to eat there but the next year we were staying at POFQ and one night we didn't want to go too far for dinner so we walked over to give Boatwright's a shot. It turned out to be our favorite meal of the trip....and this was among alot of great TS restaurants that we had gone to all week. The service was as great as the food and the surroundings were great as well.

I can only review Boatwrights. For dinner we had excellent food in 2003, then so so food in 2005, maybe it was what we ordered. I honestly can't remember what we had, except my son didn't care for the catfish AT ALL and he usually eats that stuff up. Boatwright's breakfasts are hands down the best I've ever had, the sweet potato pancakes and blueprint omlettes were to die for. I never tried the stuffed french toast because bananas upset my tummy but I heard lots of ooh mmm yumms coming from nearby tables over the strawberry sauce topped banana stuffed french toast dish. So I'd say, if you can sneak over for breakfast at some point I'd recommend it over dinner, but usually, even over Spring Break 2005, it wasn't crowded so that would be nice for a group maybe.

I've been to Olivia's and Shutters, but that was 2-3 years ago.

Olivia's is located across from the check-in area, but in a separate building separated by a walkway. It's in the same building as the gift shop/store. It's in a very busy area and I don't remember it having any private areas. But the food was excellent and our waitress couldn't have been nicer!

Shutters is located in the food court area of CBR next to the gift shop as well, but I don't remember it being as "busy" as Olivia's. We were seated in an area of the restaurant that was fairly quiet. Again, the food and service were great.

I think both have an adult atmosphere so you can't go wrong with whichever you choose!

Personally, I've had bad experiences with service & food at Boatwright's. In 2005, we ate there twice. Once we had excellent service & food. The next time, the service was some of the worst I've had on property. Calling it SSSLLLOOOWWWWW would be nice. The same food ordered the second time was barely edible...fatty, not well prepared prime rib. Eeewww.

In 2004, the food was okay, but service was too slow once again.

And while I love this resort, I don't think the atmposhere is as uplifting as your occassion (exception being if piano player is next door at bar).

I would recommend Olivia's. The upbeat, tropical music & decor of OKW are more fitting for a wedding. We ate there in 2004 & 2005 and both times had attentive service & good food. There was a nice selection of meats & seafood.

I seem to recall a patio area that is still part of the restaurant that might be used for larger parties that might give some privacy. Also like that is next to the waterway, boats, lighthouse. Cool setting.

Didn't eat at Shutters when I stayed at CBR, but recall it is right there in the mix of the food court.
