DS and DD will both be celebrating their birthdays while at WDW (12 and 14). I´m hoping to be able to get the diver and personalized menu at the Coral Reef for DS´s birthday, since he loves turtles and all marine life.

I have no clue where to celebrate DD´s (12) birthday though. Of course I want it to be special and fun. Definately don´t want her to feel overshadowed by her brothers birthday, since her birthday is actually while we are at the world but his is a couple of days earlier.

Any ideas?

If she's into Cinderella and you're into buffet dining-- @ the GF the character dinner is magical...we've done bdays there. Or the breakfast at Ohana @ Polynesian has Minnie & Co-- more private, good food and fun-- table service a great place to celebrate anything-- we did our son's engagement there....

Thanks! She´s definately not into princesses or the castle anymore. Felt kind of silly there last year although our younger DD´s loved it. But Ohana´s sounds like fun. I´m gonna check it out. :)

Well if she isnt into characters consider having dinner at Ohana! Its a family fave and she will enjoy the coconut and hula hoop races! For my bday they gave us a table by the window and when Wishes begun they turned the lights down low and piped in the music is was magical! Plus they will make a big deal about her bday! Another idea if you dont want to stay inside for Wishes go down to the beach and watch the Electrical Parade that comes by right before the fireworks start!

She´s definately into characters, just not the princesses ;) But Ohanas sounds very nice. I´m sure we would have a lovely night there.
