I used Kayak to check. Advantage is showing $286 for a full size (Impala size) Enterprise is showing $295.

I'd make a reservation then shop and see if you can do better.

Minivans are going for $650+. You can try different codes but I'd be surprised if you can get a minivan in your price range.

Try priceline -- name your own price. Down side, you have to pre-pay for the rental if they accept your price and you don't get any money back if you have to cancel and you don't get to pick the company. You just get to select the pick-up location such as airport and the type of vehicle that you want.

Upside, you COULD possibly get a great deal -- and you don't have to put in a price that is higher than you want to pay.

We have gotten some REALLY great deals this way. I got an SUV for 16.00 a day over 4th of July weekend in the northeast -- I think it was Hartford - but I swear I can't remember where I flew into -- might have been Providence, RI.
