Need reliable, fast WiFi or Internet Connection

We'll be at POFQ next week. It just so happens that DD's college registration opens while we're there, so we need a reliable, fast connection. In the past, the connection has seemed slow in our room here.

Does anyone know if POFQ's refurb improved the internet service? If not, could anyone recommend a location for good, fast service?

Yes, there is free wi-fi at POFQ. Some areas may have a stronger connection than others. If you have a slow connection from your room, try hooking up in another area (food court, lobby, etc.).

Does that resort have a business center? That type of area might have better WiFi or a hard-wired computer that can work faster.

We were at CSR for 11 days and had no problem what so ever with using my IPad and Itouch in the room with the Wifi now offered. Used it just about everyday with no problems.

Wifi was completed in all the resorts early this year; POFQ and POR was done late last year.

Disney noted that there were several dead spots, because back in March, they took out another general building permit for WiFi. It was obvious they were going back and adding additional wiring to get the dead zones.

As noted by PP, if your room tends to be a bit slow, go to a common area and you will find faster speed.
