Need recommendations for first night offsite stay...

We'll be getting into Orlando around 10:00pm the Friday before Thanksgiving...we just need a place to crash and sleep before heading into WDW in the morning. We're a party of 7 (adults & teenagers), so we'll need two rooms.

I have been told Priceline is not our best option with our party size needs, so am looking for a recommendation for a no-frills inexpensive one night stay somewhere in the general area of WDW that's not grungy...somewhere in the $40-60 range, maybe.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!!

We just reserved a room at the Wyndham Palms through Hotel Kingdom for a 1 night stay in October. We booked a 2 BR unit that sleeps 8 people. The price was $88.00 a night and about $99.00 total after taxes and fees. I've never been to the Wyndham Palms, but it looks nice and I've read good things about it. It's got a nice golf course and clubhouse. I believe it's just a couple of miles from Disney.

This might be a better option than renting 2 regular hotel rooms. You may actually spend less in a much nicer place.

I just returned from the Wyndham Palms. We were there for two nights and I, also, booked through hotelkingdom.com at the rate of $89 per night. The two bedroom, two bath unit is perfect for your needs. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the second bedroom has two double bed and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. The condo is 1,500 square feet. It has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, jacuzzi and screen-in balcony. You may want to stay longer LOL!

Anyway, I can highly recommend this for your family of 7. You will have lots of room and the price is excellent!

Easy access to WDW - only took us five minutes to get there.
