It is that time of year again. Dry skin! I need to buy multiple things of hand lotion - one for work, one for home, and a couple for stocking stuffers. What type does everyone think is best?

Thanks.

I like the True Blue Spa lines at Bath and Body Works. I find they work the best. The Look Ma New Hands is one of my favorites.

L'Occitane makes the absolute best hand creams. A bit pricey, but totally woth the cost. One of my favorite little luxuries!

Aveeno!!!! I do not care for their "unscented" ones, but aveeno works the best by fAR!!!

I love products made with the Dead Sea minerals. There's one called Sea of Life that I swear by. I haven't seen it in the US though, but my aunt and uncle just came from Israel to visit and brought me a whole lot of lotion from them. But when I can't get, any Dead Sea product is ok by me.

Hemp Hand Creme (in a tube) from The Body Shop. I settled for this one after trying everything at Bath and Body Works and L'Occitane. What can I say? I have really bad hands.

L'Occitane is wonderful!

For a cheaper option, I've always loved Vita Moist from Avon. It doesn't leave your hands greasy either.

I've been using Hemp Hand cream from the Body Shop and it's my favorite right now.

ETA: Christine, I think we posted at the same time!

There is one by vaseline that comes in a small tube, not a pump. I can't remember the name of it, it is really heavy and thick. Works really good! I have very fair skin and it gets intensly dry in the winter. There is another one by neutrogena too that is really heavy and thick in a small tube. I guess the ones that come in the tubes are to heavy to get through a pump, so I would suggest one in a tube:idea:
I noticed when I started taking fish oil capsules(ingesting them lol), I didn't need lotion:eek: which is shocking if you saw what washing my hands a million times a day after changing a diaper, looks like. I do wear rubber gloves when my hands are in dishwater. The fish oil works great!

My Mom bought it for me on her trip to Israel too. I didnt love it, but Mom did. She has reordered via the net and also has found it at Stein Mart and Marshalls here.. Go figure!

The only thing that prevents me from getting cracked, bleeding hands in the winter... http://www.crossaranch.com. Everything else is just a temporary fix to me. This stuff is amazing if you actually need a good moisturizer.

I have to agree. I probably wouldn't spend the dough on it myself, but my aunt-in-law who loves the stuff got me some as a gift, and it is superior.

One of the best things my doctor told me to use for very dry skin was Aquaphor Healing ointment from Eucerin. It is great for winter skin problems or just for cuts and cracks on skin...I can not say enough about it. It has been a lifesaver! :thumbsup2
