Hey!

We are staying at BCV for our 2nd anniversary in a studio in December. Does anyone have any good room suggestions for a studio that had a good view or other benefits? Or how about ones not to request?

Thanks and Kungaloosh!

Your best bet is to request a specific view like EPCOT or the Quiet Pool. You stand a much better chance of getting that than getting a specific room. Our favorite view at the BCV is the quiet pool.

I also want to say that someone else's idea of "good" may not be yours. I know from first-hand experience. Last year I got a studio that someone else said was just great. I was so excited when I found out that was my room assignment. Well, I was less than blown away. The road noise, while it may not bother some, really bothered me. On the other hand, once I got a studio that I loved-mediocre view, but all those lovely birds singing! Well, singing birds may not "do it" for some people as they did for me. What do you want to see? Close/far from elevator? High or first floor?

I enjoyed the fire works from the 5th floor with a Epcot view at night. This same view lost some of it appeal in the day due to the service road, the now noticable bull dozer ect. It would be wise to consider when you and your spouse would be using the balcony.

I've stayed in a studio at BCV and we were on the 5th floor with an Epcot view. Our studio was also a dedicated studio, so no connecting door also. Now, the view of Epcot and Illuminations was grat, I'd never stay in an Epcot view room at BCV again. The road did take a lot away from the view, and the noise was very noticable to me. If you're a light sleeper, don't request an Epcot view, ask for a view of Dunes Cove.

We had a wonderful BCV studio in February - all we asked for was a dedicated studio and non-smoking. We had woodland view which also gave us a nice view of the higher EPCOT fireworks. It was a very quiet room - no neighbors on either side! I would highly recommend asking for a dedicated room if you want quiet and some measure of privacy!

If you are interested in the Epcot view, 461 is a choice studio. it's near the eleveator closest to self-parking (but not close enough for elevator noise), and it has a huge balcony because it is next to a stairwell, rather than another room. We've stayed there both times we've been "home", and would ask for it again next week when we're there, but we want two studios close together, and I don't know if there's another studio close by.

When you make your reservation, make your generic request (pool view, Epcot view, etc). When you check in, ask the CM if there is a room that they might suggest that would be .... . If you request a specific room and nothing else, and the room is not available, you may not get anything that you want.

I personally like the rooms across from the trash. Don't have to walk as far with the "used" diapers. :)

Last June we stayed at BCV and had a great room. 121 is a one bedroom (we stayed there ) and the next room was the studio if you wanted the 2 bdroom. The reason we liked this location is that it is on the first floor, but on a very small, corridor of 4 or five rooms(before the elevators). It is so convenient to the walkway to BC, to quiet pool and self parking. It does not have foot traffic. Now, there is a small patio that has a woods view, but view was not our concern. It was perfect, quiet, convenient. Just my 2 cents.
