Need quick reply-pay by check for DP??

Does anyone know if you can use a personal check to pay for the initial deposit for the Illuminations Dessert Party?

If so, will they hold the check several days before they count it as your deposit? We are sending our contract back tomorrow and we only have until 1/24 to send it back with our deposit to hold our space.

Thank you-please reply back if you know!!! I tried to call our DP planner, but she is out of the office today!!

I did. I'm not having a wedding though just a private Illuminations Dessert Party.

I mailed it the same day I got the paperwork. I think it had to be in I think 7 days after the agreement.

OOPS -- sorry didn't realize the 2nd message was from you. LOL! I thought it was someone else telling you to put it on your CC just to be safe. Toolong of a day here.

Our contract and deposit is due on the 24th and we were going to mail our check and signed agreement 2 day mail tomorrow, but I got nervous that they might hold personal checks for a few days to clear and I got worried about losing our location, so I ended up just going with our CC to be safe!
