I'm looking for a suggestion of a nice cross-body purse to take to WDW with me. Only requirements are that it needs to be cross-body, fairly small, and if possible, water resistant? Anyone know of anything like that? TIA! :)

Fossil has several styles. I have black and brown leather and black and brown nylon cross body bags. I also have a couple of cross body bags in metallics. They are fabulous!!!

Baggalini...I think it's called the Everything bag. It's more than $20 though.

I agee that VERA might looks good but it is not water proof and more than 20.00 I wanted to take my small Vb back pack but am having second thoughts if I get stuck in the rain then it will be like carrying a mound of wet Kleenex on my back for the rest of the day.

I have the Baggallini Messenger that is talked about all over the Dis, but I hate it. It gives me that oh-so-attractive "split ****ie" effect.

I have used a Kavu Keeper and a Vera Bradley Hipster and have loved both.

HAHA...I personally hate the cross-body style bags for exactly that reason.
I like those drawstring backpacks...not sure what the technical name is for them! I have a DVC one and I LOVE it...you can wear it like a backpack or just throw it over one shoulder. They are light and very comfy.

If it has a thinner strap, it doesn't bother me. I do love a drawstring backpack. I have a couple that we have printed at work for promotional stuff and I have used those before.

I have the Bagallini (LG) wallet bag in black, it is my go to travel bag. I have never submersed it but it has fared well in Orlando's torrential downpours as well as all water rides at WDW and other assorted amusement parks.

My one suggestion is to get it ahead of time and to actually wear it the way you plan to. I find that even the wallet bag which is very small can irritate my shoulders and back when I haven't used it in awhile.

I bought mine at a local luggage store in our area several years ago. It was in the $40 range but it has more than paid for itself over the years.

I know what you mean! I hate that.
