Need prayers and good thoughts for Kevin's Mom today * Update 5/8/11*

My brother and I spoke with the Hospice doctor this morning.

We have been told that my Mom's condition is so poor that we should stop her treatment and let her pass peacefully.

We have decided to follow his advice.

Nothing in my life has been this difficult.

Please keep my Mom in your prayers.

Kevin, my husband and I have been through the same decision with my husband's mother. It was the hardest time of my husband's life as he watched his mother pass. At the same time, she had suffered so much that it was better to see her stop fighting and be allowed to just have some peace. You, John, and your mom are in my thoughts and prayers. Focus on making your mom as comfortable as possible and just love her in the time she has left.

Kevin, I dont know what I can say in this point in time but I know how you are feeling right now. It happen 14 years ago when I was 14 and my mom got really sick in the hospital. I prayed my little heart out and she got better.

I will be praying my little heart out tonite that your mom gets better. She is such a WONDERFUL lady! She has a warm smile and that is something that you have inherited from her. If you need anything, and I mean anything my mom and I are here for.
