Need prayers and good thoughts for Kevin's Mom today * Update 5/8/11*

There is no greater gift than just a little more TIME.
I know you will be cherishing each and every minute you have to be with your Mom.
{hugs}

Kevin, what wonderful news! I will keep your mom, you, John and the rest of your family in my prayers. I am so happy you got to spend yesterday being with and talking to your Mom. May she be with you and yours for many days, weeks and hopefully years to come.:grouphug:

Kevin,
Like so many others I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. I am so happy for you to have this chance at a miracle. You are all still in my thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

That is amazing. No matter what happens, the time you were given is a gift. I'm very happy for you.

Oh Kevin, that is wonderful news..and you are right...it is a gift. It only goes to prove the power of prayer. With that said, I will continue to keep your mom, you and the rest of your family in my prayers.

After reading all the posts...I started to think that I need to call my daughter...been mad at her for a week now....but I didn't get a chance, as right at that moment...she called me (which is rare for her...she doesn't like to talk on the phone....she's a texting person)

:grouphug: just remember that we love you guys and we are here for you.

That's wonderful news! To be given that day when you were preparing yourself to say goodbye.

I hope you have lots and lots of good days ahead with your mother.

My turn to look for the tissues.

Kathy

God works in mysterious way... Sometimes we don't understand his plan, or agree with it, but I think your day like yesterday proves he is there and working. I will continue to pray for you, your mom and the rest of your family that days like this continue.

Oh Kevin. What a blessing. I will continue keeping your family in my prayers. ((hugs)) :)

Kevin, it's so wonderful that you got the chance to have that heartfelt talk with your mom. I hope her health improves.

Enjoy these precious moments, the silver lining is the realization that you have a 2nd chance to say all the things you should have the first time.

Our brother passed suddenly just before his 40th birthday, the most difficult part to recover from was the realization that we never had a chance to say everything we should have.

What a blessing.

When my mother became terminally ill, I told her every day how much she meant to me. When she was in the last few days of her life, but still coherent, I said "Mom, have I ever told you how much I appreciated all your help with Dalton [my son]?" Barely able to speak, she looked up at me, smiled and said "Only a million times." That is a memory I hold most precious in my heart and it gives me immense comfort knowing she knew how much I loved her.

I'm still praying for you and your family.

What wonderful news! So moving and so powerful. God bless and I continue to pray for your Mom's recovery :)

That's incredible news Kevin! It's beyond wonderful that you were able to tell your mom how much she means to you. I think that is SO important, and you were very fortunate that you were able to do that. I'm keeping you and your mom in my thoughts and prayers. :)

Kevin, you made me cry! But tears of joy are so much better than the other kind! I'll continue to keep all of you in my prayers, and thank you for the reminder to make every day count!

Peace~
Lori
