Need possible ideas for magic trip

I and my daughter have never been to WDW before. We are taking a spur of the monument trip before she’s go back to school(thanks Disney for the free dining Plan)this is our planned itinerary please give feedback to what other things I should add our delete as I want this to be the most magical trip with her father

Wednesday August 31 th
• Morning flight from MSP to MCO, arriving at noon
• ME to Pop Century
• Dinner at 1900 Park Fair at Grand Floridian Cinderella’s Royal Gala 4:50pm
• Disney Quest till close
Thursday September 1st
• Breakfast at POP food court
• Animal Kingdom (morning and early afternoon) (lunch at Flame Tree BBQ)
• Swim at hotel in the late afternoon/early evening
• Epcot (early evening Le Cellier at EPCOT 4:10pm)Illuminations 9:00pm
Friday September 2nd
• breakfast at POP food court
• Magic Kingdom -- through Wishes fireworks (lunch Cosmic Ray’s Starlight) (dinner Cinderelles Royal Table 6:00pm )
Saturday September 3rd
• Ohana Character Breakfast PS at Poly resort restaurant 9:50am
• Late afternoon flight from MCO to MSP

What about adding MGM Studios to it??

Lots of fun there, maybe see Fantasmic. Love that show.

Make sure to see Illuminations at Epcot as well.

How old is your daughter? I'm asking because I've read mixed reviews on Disney Quest.

Have you considered going to a water park? Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are awesome!!

After the Princess dinner at Epcot you might want to stay and tour the World Showcase and watch Illuminations.

I havent been to Disney Quest myself, but from what friends and family that have been they say its fun, but with such a limited amount of time, its definitely not a MUST HIT.

I would agree with the others, Illuminations is excellent and if possible shouldnt be missed.

As it is a short trip skipping the water parks is understandable, tho I love them..just floating in the lazy river = bliss to me.

MGM is enjoyable but again sounds like you are pressed for time. The truth of the matter tho is that if you've never been to Disney before you could spend your entire time in the MK and leave happy.

It definitely sounds like you are trying to map out your entire trip (which is understandable) but after all my trips I have come to realize that its almost impossible. If you spend so much time focusing on your schedule you can miss out on part of the fun. You need to be flexible, as your schedule and the parks crowds might not jell with your plans. I can understand planning meals that require reservations, but dont try and plan those lunches. There are a ton of places to eat and no reason you should lock yourself into someting at this point.

remember you are on vacation...relax and enjoy...with a plan or without, by the end of the day I guarentee you that you'll be exhausted

the main reason we going to disney quest is because we have it as a option with are passes...also after dinner it looks like all the parks close ealy and firgured DQ was open ill 11:00pm then we also could do some shopping

I wasnt trying to plan out the meals but form all the reviews just want to make it a great trip

Well, Epcot sure isn't closed at 7 p.m. Illuminations doesn't start until 9 p.m. and you can't miss that! Even when the parks close, the stores stay open an hour later in the parks. There will be plenty to do. You'll find that you won't be able to fit it all in--which is why you'll start planning your next trip as soon as you get back! I just planned a last blast trip too for next week. It's fun being spontaneous.

you aren't kidding. I remember we did a 2 week trip one year and I figured there was no way we wouldnt be able to fit in everything...well I was WAAAAAAAAAY wrong. Of course it was the middle of summer. I have to say 4th of July in Disney is incredible...but I never want to do it again

We stay a week at Old Key West and a week at Boardwalk (which I think it was the first year Boardwalk was open) and we didnt even really get the entire boardwalk experience.

Being your first trip I understand a desire to see and do as much as possible (heck even for many who've been there before we feel this way) but you miss part of the magic of Disney if you rush. You can and should rush through an amusement park (aka 6 flags type park [which dont get me wrong I love those parks as well]) but the atmosphere of Disney is half the experience and that isnt something you can rush through) 4 days will be enjoy time for you to sample Disney, get you hooked and leave you wanting more. No matter where you end up going or what you end up doing I certainly hope you find it every bit as enjoyable and magical as most of us find it. Seeing Disney for the 1st time is an amazing thing...seeing it again for the 1st time through a childs (yours or in the case of this past june for me, my nephew's eyes) is even more amazing.

Have a great time. I have a feeling when you come back you'll have a hard time saying if it was your or your daughter that was more upset about having to leave

I certainly wouldn't forgo Fantasmic in favor of Disney Quest.

Since your daughter is only 7 I would think she would enjoy Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace instead of the Concourse Steakhouse. I agree that Disney Quest shouln't be a priority. Fantasmic is definitely worth seeing.

My daughter is really looking forward to going disney

Iam too ...I cant wait to eat!!!! this will be the highlight for me and also to see the look on my daughter face when we get to disney

Don't forget the Family Magic Tour at MK. We are doing this for our Christmas trip. You can do a search either here or google it to read some reports on it.
