Would someone share what it costs to park for the Disney parks. I'm trying to decide which AP to get and this could be a strong factor in my decision. I know only the Premium pass gets free parking; so, I'd like to know the cost of parking. I was able to get the discounts from Disneyland's site but I didn't find the parking fees.

Also, does paid parking at one park count for paid parking at the other if you park hop?

Parking is $9 for autos. You only need to park once--there aren't separate parking lots for each park as DCA was built in DL's original parking lot. When DCA was built, they built the huge Mickey & Friends parking structure and if you do buy an AP with parking, that's where you have to park. There is a small parking lot tucked behind DCA and they often have people park over at the convention center who still try to park there. In either case, they have trams that take you over towards the main entrance. You then go through security, buy your passes if you need to, and enter whichever park you want to see. If you choose to park hop (and you have a ticket that allows hopping) you simply exit one park and walk across the plaza to the other. No need to move your car (the parking lots are further away than the park entrances are from eachother) and you don't have to go through security again unless you go out to DTD or through a hotel. If it's a simple park hop from one to the other, you only walk a few hundred yards. BTW, if for some reason you do take your car out of the lot or structure, just show your paid ticket at the booths at the entrance of the lot/structure to get back in. Parking may be added to any AP for $40, though the Premiums do include it.

I was just looking at the Disneyland website yesterday and it said that parking is $8 for autos.

I was noticing that alot of the hotels around Disney seem to be in walking distance so you may not even have to park as well - also alot of hotels offer shuttles - again to save the cost of parking.

Enjoy your trip.

On the 5th they were charging $9--that's what it said at the booths going into the parking structure. Maybe they haven't changed the website yet.
