OK... I need opinions... my dd (18) is leaving it to me.
I have 3 options:
1) Leave at 4pm ME to get a 7pm flight
2) Get a later ME departure time and stay at the Hyatt in the airport ($150).
3) or stay a 3rd night at BC and leave ME 6am for a 9 am flight ($270).

Prior to our 2 nights at BC we are spending 7n at POR so it isn't like we aren't there... park ticket and food costs are the same....

So is it really worth it to stay that 3rd day all day????

I would pick option 1. There's plenty of time to go to a park and have some lunch before heading to the airport.

Speaking for myself:
Option 2 is slightly appealing but after being away for 9 nights, I want to climb into my own bed not stay someplace for one night to fly out the next day. It's slightly appealing b/c DH is dying to stay at the Hyatt but it would be a hard sell.
Option 3 is out. I would hate to get up at the crack of dawn to fly out.

I'm with option 1 as well. Once I leave WDW, I feel like the vacation is over and I'm then ready for my own bed.

Thank you all... :) I hate the room only option cause I can play with things... with the package, I am locked in...
same thing with SW air... but what a nice dilema to have :)

I'm also with option 1.

Our last trip, we spent 2 nights at BCV and 7 at BLT. We had a 4:20 ME to the airport and it was plenty of time to go to MK, ride a few attractions, get a dole whip, go to the pool and swim, plus have lunch and shower, all before 4:00.

Option 1. We just did the exact same scenario at BC in May. We checked out, enjoyed epcot in the morning, hung at the pool for the rest of the day and then showered in the gym, caught the ME aound 4ish and headed home. We felt like we had a full day. Personally, that last day is always so sad for me. I hate just hanging around with no room, watching the people arriving for the start of their Disney trip, waiting to leave....makes me so sad!!! We are going over Labor Day and I have a 10:15 am flight home...it's gonna stink getting up early but I basically have my whole day once I get home to unpack and unwind (and get DS ready for the 1st day of school!)

Yeah--- it is that disney sadness, leaving that I am trying to avoid I think.... :) prolong the inevitable.... :cool1::cool1:
