I have a 4yo girl and I need to make arrangements for a character meal soon.

Any opinions as to which meal is the best one, food-wise, and which one is best character-wise for a little girl who likes the Princesses? I'm thinking the Ariel one, but I would like opinions from people who have BTDT. We're flying from NY and won't likely be doing again anytime in the foreseeable future.

If your dd is really into the Princesses then I would say that Ariel's is your best bet! Minnie's Breakfast (when I have been) has not had any of the princesses and Goofy's kitchen has only had Jasmine (once again when I have been.) All the character meals are great but if it is the Princesses you are looking for then Ariel's is the best place to catch them!

You know, we have a princess fanatic in the family, and we STILL had a lousy time at Ariel's. We saw all the princesses that she needed to between Goofy's Kitchen and the Fantasy Faire.

Minnie's and Friends was our very favorite, then goofy's. Have fun!

We had a good time at Ariel's, it was an easy place to see all the princesses without waiting in line at PFF.

However, overall experience, food and character interaction, we rate the character meals we have attended as follows:

Minnie & Friends
Ariel's
Lilo & Stitch
Goofy's.

However, the closest we got to a princess at Minnie's was either Wendy or FairyGodmother.

We've only been to Ariel's once, but I thought it was great, and my daughter loved it!

We did the dinner at around 4:30, a little early, but I knew it would get crowded.

We saw:
Ariel
Cinderella
Belle
Mary Poppins
Snow White

And from what I saw and experienced, the Princesses came around to every table and gave really good interaction, and took pictures, I think it was better than standing in line to see them. We definitely didn't feel as rushed. And we thought the food was very good.

We went to lunch at Ariel's Grotto last year and the food was truly awful. But it was worth every penny all the same---we had a baby and a four and five year old girl with us and their shiny little eyes were very impressed. We saw:

Ariel
Sleeping Beauty
Belle
Snow White
Mulan

Each came over and gave hugs to the girls and took pictures. It was great.

So, why is Goofy's kitchen last on the other list? I have dinner reservations there for March---is it that bad? It's expensive, so I'm hoping it's good. :lovestruc

Our kids are not little anymore and we have always had great buffet food at Goofy's. Many princes each time and the character variety is just a plus.

We love Goofy's kitchen and will go every time. Chracters come to every table (unlike Minnie's breakfast, where we were routinely skipped over, and we spent more time chasing down characters and CMs than eating!). We like the variety of food at Goofy's too.

Lilo and Stitch was much smaller. Fewer characters and smaller buffet, but fun all the same! From what I've heard, the only place you'll see Daisy.

Ariel's Grotto was worth the price just to get pics and autographs of the princesses without waiting in any lines. We certainly wouldn't have paid that price for the food! We didn't care for the food much. We saw what I consider the 5 majors: Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). We caught Jasmine at Goofy's. Those were all the girls cared to see anyway.

Haven't done Storyteller's Cafe (Chip and Dale breakfast).

I have two DDs, 5 and 7.

Those are my 2 cents worth.
