Need opinion

Ok another question
I was wondering what you thought of this idea.
I have 3 adorable flower girls and was talking with my mom about what they should wear. She brought up that they could be my fairy god mothers and dress like the fairy's in sleeping beauty and carry wands down the isle!
I like this idea but wanted to get some of your opinions as well.

I have no idea where we would get dresses. They would probably have to be made from a patter and then just made in 3 different colors.

Nikki, That is a great idea. The other idea is to wait for the after halloween sale at The Disney Store. I don't know if everything will be gone costume wise, but usally the costumes are around 20.00 and the wands and crowns, and shoes are almost always left over...

I wanted my two nieces to be my flower girls, they are 10 and 8 and they said they are too big to be flower "girls" they think they are 30! Sooo..... I got angel wings and little tiaras to go with thier traditional white dresses and now they are my fairy princesses and they just love that! I am making all my own flower arrangements but I am sort of copying the rose wand off of the disney wish book for them to carry instead of a basket of flowers! I think it just adds to the disney magic to have fairy princesses instead of flower girls! Hope that helps!

nkkilala I love this idea but then again im bias lol.
My youngest bridesmaid is 1 1/2 & she will be dressed as a lil fairy with wings & all. so so cute!!

I dont know what the stores are like in the us but in the uk you can pick up fairy outfits at most children's dress & toy shops. Also the disney store has a some really cute tink outfits.

Around Halloween you can get wings at any store carrying costumes. Acutally, I think Disney even carries wings (a la Tinkerbell maybe) all the time. I would just go for wings and a colorful dress, and maybe list them as Fairy Godmothers in your program. The Fairy Godmother dresses are really frumpy...just go with pretty colored dresses.

I really like the idea of just having them dress up and list them as faries or fairy godmothers!
I ran the idea by Ryan (DFi) and he didn't like it.....said he didn't want anything too "gaudy" in the cermoney, I see his point. But I've found some cute style of dress on E-bay and will just list them as Faries!
