We will be going to downtown disney from 12:30-5:30 on 12/11/08. We want to eat lunch while we are there. I am wondering if I should just do a cs at wolfgang puck express or should I have a TS. I am on the dining plan and want to use it there. My options are Raglan Road, Planet hollywood, Capt Jacks, and Wolfgang Puck Cafe.
Does anyone have any opinions on these or recommendations it will be me, DH, DD 8 and Ds 5.

Earl of Sandwich...they take the dining plan credits and they have the best sandwiches EVER. Even my DD's PB&J was wonderful.

Well IMHO Planet Hollywood is OK if you want to look at Hollywood memorabilia. But as for the food and service....well let's just say our local Chili's or TGI Fridays is better.Wolfgang Puck has received quite a few UNfavorable rreviews here. Now let me say this.. I went twice on our last visit 3 years ago and it was great!! But we were all adults and enjoyed the sushi and cocktails. As for Capt. Jacks the menu isn't as varied as WP but it is "ok". We have never gone to Raglan Road but I have read quite alot of really good reviews. So...I guess what I am getting at is I would try RR over your other choices. Plus from what I have read they also have live entertainment in the evening..

I vote for Earl of Sandwich, on DDP for counter service...the "Original" sandwich is outstanding (if you like Arby's roast beef sandwich, you will LOVE the original, think Arbys but 10 times better.)

We love the Earl Of Sandwich it's amazing, the food is so fresh and it's really not expensive by Disney standards.

I ate at Bongo's recently and was fairly impressed with the food.

Raglan Road was excellent! Worth it for Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding alone!

We love Raglan Road but that's more of a favorite for night-time dinner/entertainment for us. Gotta agree with all the votes for Earl of Sandwich. I don't know what addictive drug they put in those sandwiches but we are really looking forward to getting more this trip. :)

OMG, we never let a trip pass us by without visiting Wolfgang Puck Express. It is so delicious and after a week of "disney" food, it is a refreshing change with their awesome selection of salads and pizza. :worship: And it's a super great deal if you are on ddp.

Earl of Sandwich is good too. My kiddos love their pizza sandwiches!:thumbsup2

earl fo sandwhich does look good and i love sandwhiches, but it does not seem like good uses of the ddp because it is so cheap do you think i would be better paying oop for this meal?
