We are going to be at Disney May 31st-June 8th, so far I have these ADRs in place:

June 1: nothing, I want one here
June 2: Les Chefs de France (lunch)
June 3: Raglan Road (dinner)
June 4: 50's PTC (lunch), O'hana (dinner)
June 5: Whispering Canyon Cafe (lunch)
June 6: Akershus (late, LATE breakfast 10:45a)
June 7: Kona Cafe (breakfast)

I want to go somewhere on June 1st. We'll be at MK and we won't be park hopping, so I'd like it to be easily accessible by Monorail or at MK. We've only eaten at Tony's Town Square there, but we'd like to try something new. We need suggestions!! I think we'd prefer lunch time.

It will be the three of us, me, DH and nearly 5 year old DD.

We love Liberty tree tavern, especially the fried cheese appetizer, then the traditional turkey dinner. But there is plenty more to choose from. If you are looking for a resort close to the MK, I would try Trails end Restaurant, which is a boat ride away from the MK. Nice relaxing boat ride!

Agree, LibertyTree has always been a pleasant experience and food is good.

LTT has been our TS revisit choice over all others in MK (besides CRT).

I also agree on the Liberty Tree Tavern.... As of 5:40am, there are 2 spots open for lunch for a party of 3....12:40 and 1:35. :thumbsup2

We're trying Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch for the first time this trip. It had always slipped under my radar until I saw it in a dining review recently. That burger at lunch makes me so excited! Love me a good burger with a REAL bun!!

We have not eaten at LLT for lunch we have always done dinner and it was enjoyable. We also enjoy Crystal Palace. It was Pooh and friends. I'm not sure if that's something your 5 year old would enjoy or not. We have done both lunch and dinner there. Both were good, basic buffet food.
Good Luck with your decision.

I agree with everyone else's choices with a big HOWEVER....

Given the short time til your trip, your best bet may be to go to the WDW dining site and just check for availability. You may be faced with the situation of just taking what you can get. You can just specify the park, date, and meal (ie: lunch, dinner) and they will show which restaurants have openings, and for which times. Right now it looks like you could get a late lunch at LTT. But I wouldn't wait any longer to make that ADR.

Hope you have a great trip.:thumbsup2

How about Chef Mickeys, close to the park and the fab 5 are there, I'm sure your DD would love it. The food is good, not Chef's, but everyone should be happy with the selection. We start every vacation with Breakfast there it seems to set the stage for the trip, Dinner once or twice,, wonderful mashed potatoes. Also leaving the park is a nice way to break up the day. No lunch though but you could do a late breakfast.

Bon~appetite
