I need new pots and pans. Have used t-fal in the past but it really hasn't held up very well. I love nonstick, but don't really HAVE to have it. I want something that will hold up well. DH isn't good with nonstick as he uses whatever utensil is handy.... So scratches happen frequently. I want heavy so it will LAST.

I think I might be on my 4th set in about 28 years.....

Thanks.

I have 'Cooking' with Caphalon. It is not as pricey as the regular Caphalon, and I got a great deal at Kohll's. It is stainless with clear lids, and they do have a couple of non-stick fry pans that can be purchased to match the set.

They cook and clean up beautifully.

I have Calphalon Nonstick and I love it! It is very well-made and looks like the day I bought it (it's only a year old though). Nothing sticks to these pots! Another disclaimer - I don't put them in the dishwasher and pretty much baby them.

I will look at the Calphalon. Thanks. Sounds like something I might like too!

I have been building a set of All-Clad Stainless, which has many pieces available in both regular and non-stick versions. They are very heavy and virtually indestructible, even the non-stick pieces.

An interesting byproduct of producing indestructible non-stick pans, however, is that they don't work as well as cheaper pans. You have to make them sticker to make them more durable.

my husband bought me an entire set of All- Clad for christmas. I absolutely love them.

prior to that I had a set of non stick circulan pots. They can't even compare. I would never buy non stick again

I have looked at the "Cooking" Calphalon ones at Kohl's. Have they worked well? Are they very heavy? I actually don't want them too heavy...weak arms! I will have to go check them out again 'cause I just ordered new dishes and I might as well get new cookware too! Too bad you couldn't have another wedding shower after 14 years---hey, my stuff is wearing out! :thumbsup2

Calphelon and Le Creuset. I love my le Creuset but at over $150 a piece I buy it one piece at a time.

Scanpan professional. Very expensive but all Scanpan lines have a lifetime warranty!!!

I had the Circulon nonstick and hated them too. They dinged really easily because they were thin and then the lids wouldn't fit. The Calphalon is not like that at all. They are very well made and heavy. FWIW, I had stainless in between the Circulon and Calphalon and like the Calphalon much better than the stainless. I gave the stainless away.

I have Calphalon non stick that I got at Target, and I really like it.

I have a couple of pieces of the Executive Line from Pampered Chef and it's the best cookware I've ever used. But it's $$$$ - which is why I only have a couple of pieces!

Calphalon One. You can use metal utensils on it without scratching it. It holds up beautifully and cleans easily with a little Barkeepers Friend.

I also have a Cal One Nonstick griddle and fry pan for eggs because I do'nt use butter when I cook them.

I use Calphalon also. My friend is a caterer and I asked her for advice. She told me not to get the non-stick because with better pans it isn't necessary. I have to agree with her. I really like my Calphalon. I got my at Linen N' Things when they were running a special that gave you a $50 gift card for purchasing the set. I also used one of their 20% off coupons when I made the purchase. I had looked at prices on-line and could not find a better deal on the set I wanted.

I love these too! It's really hard to scratch these, but the great thing is that if it happens, PC will replace it.

I have a set of Cook's Essentials pots and pans that I ordered from QVC. They are non-stick, heavy and well made and they have a lifetime guarantee against the non-stick coming off even if you use metal utensils with them. They're very reasonably priced.
