Need movie ideas

My dh is going on a business trip for 3 days. My dd 12 wants to stay up later than my boys can and so I was thinking of some movies to watch with her. We have the latest ones like Freaky Friday and Lizzie but I was hoping to show her something a little older to watch. I just cant think of any to watch with her...anyone have any ideas what a mom and 12 yr old can watch together????

(I think that's PG 13? Little bit of "drinking" in it...maybe a few swears...good over all "talk with your daughter" story though I think.)

My 11DD and I love A Walk to Remember and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Also any old classics can be fun to do together. (Such as An Affair to Remember). Another good one is Love Comes Softly - A Hallmark Movie. Can you tell we like to sappy romantic movies?!

I was also going to suggest "A Walk to Remember" but you will both cry your eyes out! I just read the book and then gave it to my 12 year old to read. She loved it.

GREAT Ideas you guys! Thank you so much!!!! I am hoping this will help us get through the business trip without missing daddy too much! He hasn't traveled for years and has to go ON Valentines day But he also has to work all day and night tomorrow so we decided we'd get some flicks to watch both for tomorrow and for next tue-thur. The boys are set with some X box games but me and dd have nothing like that to keep us interested that long.

Please keep them coming! I have a ton of credit at Hollywood so I can get quite a few!
