Need more resort imput for picking a resort!

Good thing we aren't going till next August becase I can't seem to make up my mind about which resort to stay at. I had almost gotten to the point where is was going to be be Pop but I kept looking at the mods and they just seemed more appealing to me. We stated at Riverside last time and really liked it but found having 5 of us in the same room just to much. So I figured we would just get to rooms (rather then say a suite since they aren't included in the free dinning) and then everyone would be happy. I've been cruching my numbers and think we should be able to do a mod with two standard rooms with or with out the free dinning (though that would be a big plus and give us extra spending money). Now as much as we liked PO I would like to try another one (I doubt I will ever talk DH in doing this again, he's only doing it for a second time because all three dd and I want to and I'm paying with some of the money my mother left me when she passed away....she knew how much the girls wanted to go again so I know whe would approve). So tell me what's good or bad about CB and CS? I have to say I'm leaning towards CS because I like the look of it and it has queen beds. But CB looked really nice as well so kind of torn. I must say I didn't think that I could do CS to begin with as everytime I put info into the Disney site it kept coming up begin way more expensive then the other mods and even more expensive then some of the hight priced resorts until I realized it keeps giving the packages for suites and there doesn't seem to be a way to change it to just a standard room. Anyhow it seems to be only about $5 more a night the CB so now I have a choice between the two. I've been reading some of the guides and the major thing they say is wrong with it is the size and that it can take about 10 minutes to walk to the bus or food, but honestly if you can't walk 10 minutes on the resort how the heck are you going to walk all day at one of the parks....so really not an issue for me or my family...besided the grounds look so nice it will be good to enjoy them. So helpful, insightful comments much needed...thanks.

We really liked CSR. It was very relaxed, beautiful grounds and nice rooms. The queen beds were a big factor in our decision.

We are staying at AoA for our next trip and I have a feeling I will miss CSR a lot!

The other thing to consider with CBR is that it doesn't have elevators. We got our ground floor room request, when we stayed there, but it would have been a bit frustrating if we hadn't. I guess it depends on the age of your kids though.

Otherwise, we loved our stay there.

I have stayed at CSR and I liked everything about the resort except the size and all the extra walking. If I were to go there again I would pay for a preferred room. I have not stayed at CBR but know it is a large resort also. We will be staying at CBR this next trip and I'm getting a preferred room. The pool seems to be extra nice at CBR especially with the zero entry. CSR was really nice and we loved the hot tub, pool, beautiful grounds, food court , and quick bus service,but our legs were worn out from walking in the parks and the resort

We stayed at CBR last Halloween, and loved it. Yes...it's a huge, spread out place, but I don't think time wise you'll spend any more time walking there than you would at POR...we've done both. Both are gorgeous! (POR food court kids the nod for us).
The bus issues are always hit-or-miss as to walking distance, unless you up the ante and pay for "preferred" locations.

FYI, POR and POFQ now have queen beds too. DBR does not.

We liked POR but want to stay at a different resort because I don' think DH will ever agree ro go back. I think the food looks better as far as table serivec goes, at CS. If we got the free dibnib I suppose we could pay for the prefered rooms. I know where I'd want to stay at CS but not at CB. I suppose I could show DH and the girls both places and let them havea say. I know DH will say CS based on having queen beds. Either way I don't think we can go wrong.
