Need major transportation help for early ADR

I FINALLY just got an 8:15 ADR for CP on July 4!!!

I have read that for the character dining ADRs before MK opens, you are let through a Character Dining entrance and allowed entrance into the park early for your ADR. However, I am not staying on property, but at our family condo. I thought I would be ok showing up around 7:15 and waiting in line to enter the park asap *Id much rather be early!*, but I read that the parking lot does not open but an hour before the park. For me showing up at 8 for an 8:15 reservation will be waay too late! I have not been to Disney since I was a child, so I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to get there earlier than 8am...or if the parking lot will be open before this?

Once you get there, take the Resort monorail as the other monorail won
ty be running..

The first ADRs are for 8:05, so they don't usually let people into the park until about 8, so no need to be too early.

I was gettin a lot of mixed reviews and found the number for transportation questions and called and spoke to a woman who told me that the parking lot will be open that early as long as I provide an ID and show my confirmation e-mail and ADR proof basically. After I show that to the security guard I will be let through to park and hop on the monorail as that will be my only option for that early in the morning! Thanks for the heads up guys! As strange as it sounds, calling WDW is actually the worst way to get information. The CMs you speak to on the phone don't actually work at WDW. They often give flat-out wrong information. If the info you get on the disboards conflicts with the info you get from a CM over the phone, believe the people on the disboards.

That being said, the parking lot will be open pretty early. Be aware, though, that they won't let you into the park until about 7:45 or so, so there's no need to get there too early.

ahh! Thanks for the heads up! lol! Now Im back to being confused! More people have told me that the parking lot opens early than late..so I guess Ill just have to take my chances!

The only parking lot that ever opens late is the one at AK. It sometimes doesn't open until an hour before park opening. Every other parking lot is open way earlier. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure that they even close.

Anyway, you won't be taking a chance. The parking lot at MK will be open. No doubt about it

The MK parking lot NEVER closes.

Also the Epcot and HS lots never close. The only lot that closes is AK and that is only for an hour or two in the morning and will usually let the first car thru at 7:30

Also because it is 4th of July and they willbe expecting large crowds, they will most likely have an unpublished early opening!

You are not going to have any issues getting into the TTC/MK parking lot at 7:15. It's a non-issue. Just drive over there, pay to park, then find a parking spot and head over to the monorail to get to MK for your ADR.

Since When? I drove to the parks in July 08 and on two separate days I arrived at Epcot and DHS about ten mins before the parking lots opened. I waited in line (short, like three cars, LOL) at the parking booths until they opened and then showed my resort parking pass and went in.

Since always. The EP, MK and HS toll plazas are used by CMs to get to work and since all parks have CMs arriving around the clock they cannot be closed.
