We've been here the past few days, but we've been back in our room before 6pm each night. Tonight we plan on MK from about 5pm to close. Will we need a jacket, or will it still be comfortable for shorts/tshirts?

If you are worried and you have a light hoodie that you brought, then I would wrap that around your waist while at the park, then if you feel like you need to have it on, I would just put it on. Definitely bring one, if you are not sure.

According to the forecast, 67 degrees is the low tonite....that's jacket weather?

We were at MK until 11pm last night and we were all fine without jackets. It was 73 when we got to the resort at 1130.

It's is for some people. My gram wears a jacket or sweater when it's 80°. Some people take medications that may make them cold. Some people are used to warmer climates. I might even wear a jacket at 67°, especially if there is a light breeze. When I go to WDW in October, I bring a light scarf with me and it goes with me everywhere. I have gotten chilly with the air conditioning.

That's why I don't get the original question. All we can do is look at the weather forecast .... :confused3

Are we being punked?

OP here. Coming from another state I just wanted to get an opinion on temps that time of day. Maybe there was someone who was here in the last couple of days who could give advice.
I didn't think about the air conditioning being on at that time. Thank you all for the constructive advice :thumbsup2

That's great news. I'd rather not have to carry around a jacket, even tied around my waist if I don't have to. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Oh ... I thought you were already in DisneyWorld, and asking a message board whether you would need a jacket. I was thinking - you have access to the same forecasts we do AND you're there ... why would we have better info? NOW, I get it. You were asking local peeps. My bad.

FWIW - at least 6 months out of the year I carry a jacket or sweater with me everywhere. It can be tied around the shoulders or waist, or just carried or stuffed in a bag if you don't need it. I am cold-natured so I like to be prepared.

Totally agree that it depends on the person. My bro doesn't wear more than his normal short-sleeved, button-down cotton shirt (no undershirt) unless it's colder than 10*F. I wear a jacket until it's 80*F or warmer (I might forego the jacket if it's 75*F and there's absolutely no breeze).

Living down here in south Florida I'd be dying if I had a jacket on at all anytime today. Sadly our jackets are put up for at least another 6 months :/

The low is so deceiving. A "low" means the lowest it'll hit that night - that could be at 2am or at 11pm. Usually a low of 67 means it'll be in the low 70s most of the night. I know during December, a low in the 50s (low 60s all night) usually means "bring a hoodie and a jacket." But one night there was a low of 57. We wore sweats out for late night EMH and were hot. Go with what's comfortable. If you're going to EPCOT, bring a jacket - it's cooler around the lagoon. MK is a little warmer and DHS usually sees the lowest amount of wind.

We have been here since Sunday and have been out until around 10 or 11 every night. It has been a little chilly with the wind at night (keep in mind we come from SC and are used to a fairly warm climate), but none of us have carried a jacket. We were at fantasmic last night and the winds were pretty heavy, got some chill bumps in my shorts and tank top but it was fine. Not worth carrying a jacket around in my opinion.

OP here. Thank you everyone! We decided to leave our jackets in our room and I'm glad we did. We stayed till closing and didn't get back to our room until after midnight. There were a few sprinkles as we were walking out but it was still quite warm.

I was going to say, it's been a HOT one each night and I'm a warm weather lover.I havent bothered to bring one in two months. If I do, its more likely because of the AC inside than the temperature outside.... I love our evenings. My fave time is after 6. I love sun down in the parks!
