Visitting WDW for the first time:banana: Sept. 19-27. We purchased the Deluxe DDP, and to get our monies worth I made ADR. Upon reading many mixed reviews, I began to second guess my choices. I have a ressie at

San Agel-Lunch/PSD-Dinner
The Plaza Rest.-Lunch
Spoodles-Break./Mama Melros-lunch
Planet Hollywood-Dinner
Tusker House-lunch/Captain Jack's dinner
Tony's-dinner
Coral Reef-lunch/ Spirit of Aloha-dinner

Thanks for any/all input.
P.S. Forgive the primitive thread, I am a NEWBIE!!!!!:scared1:

Welcome to the DIS Boards!

We'll be at WDW around the same time as you.
Since you're on the DxDDP, I would try for ADR's at Signature Dining restaurants such as California Grill, Narcosee's(sp?), Citrico's, etc. They are fantastic!

The only restaurants I've eaten at that are on you list are Tony's and Coral Reef. They are actually my least and most favorite restaurants. Tony's service and food were not good at all. Even my not-picky children didn't like their meal. The best part of our dinner there was the desert. On the other hand, Coral Reef is fantastic! The service, ambiance, and food are incredible.

When we are there in September, we are eating at Plaza and Mama Melrose.

Have a great trip!

I agree with the previous poster-try to get a reservation at some signature restaurants to get your money's worth-Narcoosees or Citricos at GF, California Grill at CP, Jiko at AKL, or Artist's Point at WL.

I did the Spirit of Aloha several years ago. It's pretty fun entertainment, but I didn't care for the food. Worth it for the entertainment though!

The Plaza Rest.-Lunch Ate there years ago and it was good. Going back in Oct

Spoodles-Break./ Ate there once and it was horrible, the most overcooked and greasy breakfast ever

Mama Melros-lunch Ate there in June and it was really good

Planet Hollywood-Dinner Have eaten here a few times, the current menu doesnt do it for us...it is similar to TGIF or Ruby Tuesday type food.
