This past March, DH and DDs (4 + 5) and I went to WDW for a jam-packed 4 day vaca. This was the first trip there for all three. DH had a broken foot and used a scooter to get around. My dad and his wife joined us for a day and a half. We had such a blast, we are planning a return trip for June 11-16
again a short trip
different group of people
this time it will be our entire immediate family DH, DD5, DD4, DS2.75 and DD21 months, myself, my sis (grown), my mom and my dad (divorced for 7 years but friendly)
weird, I know
But I was thinking we might qualify for a Magical Gatherings event The Fireworks Voyage. You need 8 paying persons we have nine total, but only 7 over age 3. Couldnt we pay for the 2.75 year old and make the 8 person limit? If we can, heres my plan for our itinerary
please give me your thoughts. We had such a magical time, no lines, perfect weather, and fewer children
I dont know if this will be too busy for us to expect:
FRI 11th: Arrive airport 2:45p.m. take Happy Limo to hotel. Check-in to GF relax pool/play
7:30 PS for Park Fare Cinderella dinner (my 21 month old just LOVES Lella)
Early bed time to be well rested for rest of vaca (all of us are flying out together except my dad who will meet us on Saturday).
*Maybe Downtown Disney for some of us .
SAT 12th: Lynx bus to Sea World for day Meet up w/dad. (Rest of family wants to go here have a relative who is a VP there or something)
??? Not sure of time but try for Magical Fireworks Voyage with view of EWP and visit from Peter Pan (DS LOVES him!)
SUN 13th:
EE to MK until about noon
R&R
Try for early PS @ Chef Mickeys
Choice of: Illuminations/Fantasmic/Spectromagic dep. On mood
MON 14th:
Mom & Sister depart
EE AK (just DH, me and 4 kids) til noon
R&R
5:10 PS @ GF Café
EVE- Spectromagic/Wishes (If not done on Sun) and E-ride nite (If we get tix)
TUES 15TH:
EE to MGM til 2ish
R+R -- pack to leave
EVE: Downtown Disney or Choice not done earlier (i.e., Fantasmic/Illuminations or MK again)
WED 16th
EE Epcot noon or MK if necessary
1:30 DDs Wonderland Tea Party
4:30 Depart for airport L
Its really hard for me to judge how much time will be needed as I dont know how the crowds will be AND with the age differences in the kids and everyones wishes. I have one thrill-seeking child, one scaredy-cat child (Who doesnt like the dark, getting wet or anything that comes out of the screen ) and two little ones too little to do some things and whom likely require midday naps but tend to stay awake late into the evening at home if they do nap.
Please let me know if you think this is too much or if theres something I should consider adding/changing etc. I have PSs for all days including ones not listed here the only things I need to still try to schedule are the Magical Voyage and a Chef Mickeys dinner on Sunday.
