Need Info - Rate Increases at WDW resorts?

Hi All,

I'm trying to do a financial evaluation of DVC membership and I'm trying to get some feel for historical inflation of room rates at WDW. Has anyone every collected any data on this? I've read a few posts that seem to indicate that the inflation rate for WDW rooms is somewhere between 4-10% per year - but that's quite a wide range. I wonder if anyone has any better data?

If this is any help ---

A one-bedroom, regular season, at OKW in 1997 was $305 per night. For 2002, the rate is $375. That's a 23% increase in 5 years. (Dues for OKW in the same time period have risen 2% from $3.14 to $3.21).

A one-bedroom at BWV has gone from $385 in 1998 to $425 in 2002 -- a 10% increase. I haven't got dues tracking for this resort.
