I just booked CSR for Nov. with an AP rate 3 nights $264. I spent one night at this resort a few years ago- but I could not tell you what section it was. There were alot rocks and desert plants around our section of the resort.

Anyway-I'd like to know
1. What is the difference in the 3 sections? What are your recommendations?

2. Do they have a good food court?

3. How are the buses?

Thanks!!

You were staying in the Ranchos.
Bus service is terrific since they don't share routes with other hotels. Fast and efficient. Coronado Springs in in a great location and is very close to MGM and Epcot. You can see the Tower Of Terror and the Swan and Dolphin in the distance.

The Casitas have more of a southwest city feel. The Ranchos have a desert look and the Cabanas are have a tropical beach atmosphere.

The Pepper Market is a great food court-although it is not a typical food court. You can read about it by clicking the Pepper Market link on my website.

We stayed in Casitas and it was fine.
If I went back I would chose Ranchos.
They were much more interesting looking, but mostly because of the great proximity to the pool area. Would have made our downtime so much more enjoyable or even for a quick evening swim. Kids not at all interested in the quiet pools.

We ate once at the snack bar at the pool and had very good burger and fries.

We were intimidated by the food court at first but we really enjoyed it. Food was good and a wide variety.

We, opposed to some other folks, did NOT pay a mandatory tip. We simply told the "wait staff" we would get our own drinks and we did not pay a tip. I'm not paying a tip to someone for only pouring me a drink, especially in my resort mug! No one sat us, we went in and ordered our own food, waited for it and carried it to an available table. They just handed us our order forms and asked us if we wanted them to get our drinks.

Now maybe that is something new since we stayed there ???

I have stayed in the Cabanas and Casitas and prefer the Casitas. I just like the feel of the Casitas. The quiet pool is very nice and pretty large. CS is a great place to stay. We enjoy running through the property early in the morning. Maya Grill has a wonderful breakfast buffet.
