Need info on Boma Buffet

Can someone tell me if the Boma dinner buffet still includes prime rib at the carving station? My son has his heart set on it--but a recent menu posted at allears.net didn't mention prime rib.

We were there last Dec. The night we ate at Bomas no prime rib. I know that the menu rotates. The food was very good. My pickey eater even liked the offerings. Maybe check All Ears web site to see what the offerings are.

Do a search here as previously the rotating menu has been listed on this forum a few times. Then you can pick which night you want to go based on when the prime rib is served.

When I was there on 8/6 (Friday), there was no prime rib. There were three meats....it was durban roasted chicken, malabu spiced steak, and coconut curry salmon.

I was there on 8/4 and we had prime rib. However, I have to say, it wasn't all that good. The meat is just sitting under a heat lamp, so unless you get it right when they get a new slab, it's not that warm and starts to get dry.

There have been labels on the foods whenever we've been there. The chefs are also pretty available to answer questions, and I've had some fun conversations with them. If you tell somone that you have food allergies, I'd expect you will get lots of information and attention.

thank you all! I'm encouraged by the recent (8/3 adn 8/4) appearance of prime rib!! I love all the unusual African food, but my 13 year old son is a carnivore and a buffet with unlimted prime rib is the only way to go! thanks again for all who responded.
