Need Ideas

I have a Mickey Mouse Watch collection that has grown to 17 watchs . Most of them from the 50's, 60's,& 70's I wear them from time to time. I would like to display them on the wall but am not sure how . Any Ideas ?????

How about?

Remove the straps (if removable) and mount them either in a box, or directly on a wall, as if each watch face were a number on a clock? I know you have 17, and there are only 12 numbers, but you could rotate, or keep out your favorites?

Get a mannequin arm, or maybe a whole mannequin......just put them up her whole arm and hang it on the wall.

A little creepy, but definately a conversation piece!!

Or I would get some foam and cover it in velvet or some other coordinating fabric and put the watch around it and hang it from the wall or put it on a shelf.

Or you could get one of those shadowbox frames and hang each one from it's own hook in the frame. I think that would be the most elegant.

I have a large collection of Disney watches & here's how I display mine:

I got a Disney clock that looks like a giant watch (about 3 feet long with the strap) and put it in the center of the wall I use for the display (small wall leading into the kitchen). I got a bunch of small hanger-hooks (they push into the wall like thumb tacks) and arranged my watches around the clock. My biggest problem is that I need a bigger wall!

Thanks to everyone for the ideas. I wonder if Garden Ridge would have a shadow box big enough . I like that idea because then I could wear them and take them in and out. They are all working now( my jewelry guy is the best !)

I used a mat and frame for a set of 12 pins that fit in to a shadow box as well but I used the frame instead. You may want to try a large shadow box and see if you can find a mat to hold a few of your favorite watches or maybe a center piece surrounded by the watches...
