Need ideas on changing resort ressies

We have confirmed ressies with great rates to stay at POR for 4 nights and Poly for 3 nights. We are travelling from November 5 through 12. While we are very happy with our ressies, some of our plans have changed affording us the ability to spend the whole time in a deluxe concierge. I have tried calling each day and checking for deluxes using bbn and bbk, but no availability. Should I keep checking each day...are there other things that I could do?

Might be too late with all that is goin on that week : ie.. jersey week, food n wine, super soap etc. Not to mention the fact that CBR and SOG are closed which eliminates tons of rooms. If no luck calling in advance, try upgrading at check in.
