Need ideas how to tell girls about Princess Tea Party?

I've decided to book the My Disney Girl Princess Tea Party as a very special treat and surprise for my 2 princesses (They'll be 5 and 7)! It's a splurge for us, and I'm very excited because I think they will really love it.

Here's the deal - they don't even know that this special event exists. They've been to princess breakfasts and the Wonderland Tea Party, but they don't know anything about this Princess Tea Party. We are going shortly after their birthdays so I am planning on the tea party as their main birthday presents, but I would like to think of a special way to tell them about the event since I won't really be giving them other birthday presents - just something small, perhaps as part of the tea party surprise.

Any creative ideas? I'd love to hear some suggestions!!

we have been planning a surprise trip to disney THAT STARTS TOMORROW !!!! so I am all about surprises...

how about wrapping up real pretty a party dress, jewels, hair things, gloves etc and leave it on the bed as you leave for the day and then they "discover it" when you return...have a pretty note written on top from the princess inviting them to a very special tea?

My almost 6yo daughter and I are going to the tea party on the morning of Mother's Day. It is a surprise. She does not know about it. I am packing her Cinderella dress and shoes in a separate pocket of the suitcase and plan to pull it out that morning, have her dress in it and tell her we are going somewhere very special. I can't wait!
