DH and are going to be in Disney with his father for a few evenings for dinner.

His father has good taste in food and really wanted to go to the Flying Fish and Hollywood Brown and Derby. Don't know if we can manage those on our budget, and if we do the dining plan to make it to these two restaurants, they each take 2 TS credits each, making us short on the rest of our 7 day stay.

We've only been to a few table service restaurants on our one recent trip together:drive: , and weren't impressed by several of them. Coral Reef was the only one we really enjoyed, but the price tag was a little high and if we do seafood I know he'd much rather go to the Fly.Fish.

Right now we're planning on stretching our budget by bringing breakfast foods and sharing CS meals for most of the lunches, and then getting CS meals to ourselves for dinner, with the exception of a buffet thrown in somewhere.

Any suggestions on where we can eat great food for a lower price? I'm not sure he'd be into a buffet either, but that's something we may ask him.

Thanks in advance!

We often go there for lunch and get great appys and Cobb Salads and desserts-wonderful meal at a bit of a savings!

pLAZA restaurant in MK is a good alternative for burgers and sandwiches
we like Kona, Tokyo Dining (if you like sushi) and Grand Floridian Cafe all seem to give bang for the buck. Olivias (?) gets good reviews on here as well. Otherwise, might i suggesdt what we do and take in a nice lunch and play dinner by ear?
