Let me preface this by saying I am not the most crafty person in the world!

I am going to MNSSHP on October 23 solo and I am very excited. My issue is I am not into dressing up, but I would like to make some type of festive Halloween shirt but I have no idea how to go about starting this. I have seen people at other holidays with simple rhinestone type ornaments, hearts or Christmas trees on their t shirts, but I am not sure if they were crafty and made those or they were purchased somewhere. I liked those a lot, but it seems like it might be to complicated.

I am open to any ideas that would be easy for a first time shirt designer.

Thank you in advance!:goodvibes

I am by no means a "crafty" person (everyone else here has much more talent than I do) but have you thought about using dark shirts and bleach? I made some shirts a couple of years ago cutting out a pattern out of cardboard and then spraying it down with a solution of bleach and water..

You can get the idea of how to do it from here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Transforming-a-boring-old-black-t-shirt-using-blea/?ALLSTEPS or a google search of bleaching T-Shirts... and I did a pattern similar to this:

I sprayed the bleach solution into the cardboard so that the shirt was black and the Skull Mickey turned colors... Once it hit the color I wanted (orangey, of course! ) then I dunked it in water...

Something I'm playing with this year are these things:

My teens have used them before and say they're really easy to use with a regular iron (fingers crossed )... I'm hoping to do one of these patterns on a black shirt:
