Need ideas for male teacher

I'm not a male teacher, but I am a teacher who works with male teachers so I thought I would share my ideas.

I love a pp idea of a Tervis cup. If you go to the website, they could be personalized and you could have Mr. SoAndSo's name put on it.

I don't know a teacher anywhere that would be disappointed with an Amazon, Walmart, or Target gift card!! I buy a ton of stuff for my classroom from Amazon and I would be thrilled to receive that.

I bought a pocket-knife like tool for my DDs teacher and my DSs bus driver this year. There are pliers instead of a knife on it and it has a little flashlight and screwdriver. I bought it at Kohls for 9.99 but have seen it at Macy's and JC Penney as well.

For my kids' male teachers I always give a $20 gift card to our liquor store where he can choose wine, beer or other alcoholic drinks for the holidays.
My kids say the comments are always very favorable.

I know many female teachers(including myself) who would love this.

Saw PP say they could get fired for accepting this - give it to the local grocery/specialty store that sell more than liquor with a not attached that says "For your favorite beverage"

Love the car wash certificate idea! If you want something more sentimental I think a Christmas ornament or a coffee mug would still be appropriate for a guy teacher.

As I have learned from these threads, male and female teachers do not want ornaments or coffee mugs (or candles, lotion, baked goods....). Go with a gc for teacher gifts.
