need ideas for making a fake campfire

help...I need a fake campfire for this Sat. & am too busy to think creatively so I come here to my always creative friends!

You should be able to find orange and red xmas lights in the store right now. Buy the large c-9 bulbs that flicker, pile some wood around ....campfire!

The one we used for Cub Scouts was a normal light base (the kind that get put into garage ceilings) with a yellow bulb in it. This was attached to a frame of wood, and we had some crepe paper floating around it (red and yellow) to simulate flames.

They are also selling those "flaming cauldron" Halloween decorations now that look pretty convincing. I think Target & Wal-Mart would be the best bet to find those.
