We are leaving next Friday for Disney and are planning to go to MNSSHP. We just tried on DD Tinkerbell costume today from the Dinsey store and its too itchy! It has a tulle-like material above the bodice and on the sleeves (they are short). Should I buy a short sleeve leotard to go under it? Any other ideas? I'm not against returning it for something else (a better non-itchy costume!). My daughter is 4.

Leotard might be tough for pottying.
How bout just a fitted t-shirt and a comfy pair shorts for underneath?

I purchased DD's Aurora costume from TDS because I knew the ones from WM and other stores were itchy. But, when she tried it on, there is one little spot around the waistline that she says "itches." Because the sleeves are see-through, I didn't want anything you would see. So, we tried on one of her brother's A-line t-shirts (its tight fitting) under it and she said it was "comfy"! It keeps the itches away, can't be seen and doesn't make pottying difficult. :)

I have used moleskin to cover itchy spots on dance costumes.. It works surprisingly well and you can cut it to whatever shape and length you need!

Good Luck!
