Need ideas for DD's birthday party...

DD will be 6 tomorrow. I'm planning on having her party with her friends later this month. For a theme, she chose Lilo & Stitch. We are inviting her entire K class, about 20 kids. We'll be having the party at a nearby park and will rent a bounce house; Lilo & Stitch themed (yes, they have them).

I need ideas on games that kids this age can play or will want to play (they are all between 5 & 6 yrs. old).

Any good ideas or web sites? Thanks for the help. DD is so excited about her party!

Try Birthdayexpress.com , Shindigz.com, Orientaltrading.com Oriental Trading has theme decorations for Hawaiian parties. Grass skirts, Leis (spelling???), etc. Hope this helps. Have a great party.

Kristi~ Thanks! Already did that, in fact that's all I have done today. I was going to buy the party/loot bags (already filled) from Birthday Express and it would have come to almost $100 for 20 kids!!!! Instead, I ordered quite a few things from Oriental Trading Co. and I will put the loot bags together.

We did a Luau themed party and for games we did the Limbo and Pin the Elvis wig on Stitch (I drew Stitch on a poster board). We made our own Lei's (Lei kit from orientaltradingcompany.com) and learned a Hula dance (pearly shells which is on the Walt Disney World Beach Party Sing Along tape). I made a cake that looked like a beach/ocean and then put a Stitch figurine surfing out in the ocean. I found all of my beach cake supplies (candy rocks, palm trees, surfboards, etc) at sugarcraft.com.

I made a pineapple punch and just served a cold cut menu with King's Hawaiian bread. I also had dried pineapple and chocolate covered macademia nuts to munch on.

Oriental Trading Co. has a ton of great decorations! Good luck! Our Lilo & Stitch luau turned out to be the best bday party we've done yet! It was a great time!

One year I had DS's party at a park. Actually, pin the tail on the donkey and a pinata went over big!

My best friend just had a luau themed party at an inside water park. The invitations were the cutest. She took a picture of Bailey in a grass skirt while at the beach last summer. Bailey was doing a hula dance. She used this digital picture to make the invitations. I don't know if you have easy access to a beach in FL but I bet anywhere outside would be cute. Everyone was talking about these invitations.

I think all children love pinatas.

My son just turned 6 yesterday..
We are waiting until the 2nd weekend after school starts back. I wished we could have a party outside..

My twins just turned 8 on the 18th, we did slumber party.. 9 girls plus the twins.. It was a lot of fun. We did crafts instead of games. We made gingerbread houses- I had everything ready for them - they just had to frost them and add all the candy.
We did the foam frames that had Best Buds on them. Then for a Thank you note we took a picture of all of them and had them made into card that said thank you..

I bought the cake and the icing separately at a bakery and applied the icing myself. I applied it very smooth at one end and then covered it with crushed graham cracker for the sand. We put the candles in the middle of the candy rock pit like a beach bonfire and put the palm trees in. Then I made the icing at the other end all choppy and did a big surfing wave. Then I spray painted the icing blue with that spray color you can buy. It was really easy. I didn't bake the cake though as we like the taste of a bakery cake & icing. I'm not THAT good. lol I have some pictures of the cake, I should post them.
