We will be going the WDW for Christmas this year and both of my DD's 11 & 8 will be celebrating their birthdays as well. We have already done the Diver/Menu at the Coral Reef for my DH's 40th last year. I am looking for something unique and fun. I wouldn't mind going to a character buffet but with the Holiday pricing and the fact my girls don't eat much I feel it's just not worth it. Does anyone have any suggestions? The help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it need to be lunch? Both the Hoop Dee Doo Revue and the Spirit of Aloha Luau do special stuff for guests with birthdays. I'm sure your girls would enjoy either of them!

Thank you Katie for the suggestions. We live just a few hours from Branson so we see lots of shows like the Hoop De Doo Revue so we probably wouldn't do that one but the Spirit of Aloha is intriguing. We love the Poly so I will definitely look into that one.

Are there any other suggestions out there?

For DD's 7th we did the Stitch b-fast at 'ohana. For her 9th we're at CRT. I'm not crazy about using 2 credits for it but it's her last year as a single digit kid, I want to make it memorable.

Have you checked out the cake thread too?

Biergarten is fun, with a live oomph band, and you can dance the polka on the dance floor. My kids love it! :goodvibes

We are always at WDW around my b-day and we always going to the Spirit of Aloha Luau at the Poly, which has everyone who has a b-day in that month get up and they teach them the b-day hula. It's so much fun! People of all ages get up and do it! Your DD's would love doing that!

My DD turned 8 at WDW. Make sure you go into town hall or guest services at all the parks, and ask them for a birthday button. When making reservations, make sure you tell them it is a birthday celebration. When you sit down at the table their will be pixie dust & streamers on the table. The birthday girls will get a dome cupcake with sprinkles. If it happens to be a character meal, they will also receive a birthday card. As the characters come by the table you can ask them to sign their card. Sometimes you need to ask your server for the card, if it is very busy.

I went to CRT for breakfast & she loved it. On a previous visit I made up a tag that had her name on it, kinda looks like the CM pin name tag, but it has Mickey Mouse on it. When I went to the parks, I picked up the birthday pin at guest services, the CM's would just come up and say happy birthday _____ . How old are you today. Every year now she only wants to go when it her birthday, because she remembers how much attention she received.

How about the 50s Prime Time? Even if you've eaten here before, the experience is made by your server. I'm sure the mention of a couple of birthdays would "enhance" your experience quite a bit. Plus, the photo ops are pretty good as the servers are usually very willing to take picutres of your party.

What do they do at the 'OHana breakfast? Thanks!:goodvibes
