Need ideas for 12 year old who loves dinosaurs

My 12 year old nephew told me he wanted dinosaurs and fossil gifts for Christmas. I am clueless as everything I see is geared towards younger kids. Any help?

My son is 11, he loves the chiseling out the bone type gifts. I just bought in another one from target yesterday.

It's like a block of plaster of Paris and they use the little hammer like device.

We have had them withe stones and other things as well.

They also sell real fossils. You can't do anything with them other than set them on a shelf, but it might be interesting to have. Search for things like Mazon Creek Fossils.

Might want to see if yo have a zoo or children's museum in town. They usually have neat dinosaur/fossil type gifts that are a bit more science-y than you find at typical toy stores.

Those chisely dig out the bone type toys say that they are for ages 6 and up, but this Mama (who has 30 years on the intended age) had trouble with it!! I think it'd be fine for a tween boy.

If you look on Amazon, they have a cool kit where you can cast, paint, and assemble a dinosaur skeleton. It's called Skullduggery Eyewitness Kit Dinoworks Triceratops. (They also have other dinosaurs)

Both of my kids love dinosaurs. Their favorite is their Schleich dinos. Also, the 'Dino Hunt Dice' game is really fun. It is like Zombie dice, but with dinosaurs.
